The Bear & Son Cutlery factory is a unique full self-contained facility in the USA. All materials and processes are completed in-house, making it perfect for upgrading your sharpening system or replacing used stones. Our accessory hones are compatible with all Gatco sharpening systems and feature an integral guide rod holder with easy-out for use and easy in for storage sliding guide rod. Built with premium grade abrasives, our hones ensure fast and efficient cutting of all steels, even those that are traditionally difficult to sharpen.

In addition, our ergonomically designed hones have longer and wider stones than competitive models, allowing for quick sharpening of edges while safety rails protect finger tips. Furthermore, Gatco’s fine sharpening hone produces a keen cutting edge for exceptional sharpness.

At Bear & Son, we handle everything in-house, from building our own blanking dies to heat treating, grinding, assembly, and hand finishing our products. Our products only contain quality USA blade steels, with the exception of Sandvik made in Sweden.
